Tips

my

#1 Choose Your Colors First.
Select a few colors or hues that compliment each other. Avoid selecting one color for your entire family. Multiple colors will add dimension.

#2 Don’t Match. Coordinate.
This doesn’t mean everyone has to match dad’s khakis or mom’s dress. Compliment each other by chosing outfits that work well together.

#3 Muted
When picking patterns, use smaller muted ones that don’t pull attention away from the main subjects. If you are thinking about texture, select different fabrics that provide a variety of interest such as: linen, denim, cordoroy and knits.

#4 Layering
Layering provides more interest in photos, but also allows for a greater variety in shots and poses. Throw a jacket or hat in your outfit selection and have a new look.

#5 Dress for the Location
Keep your location in mind when selecting your outfit.
Please dress for the season. When you feel great in your clothes, it shows!

#6 Keep Makeup Natural
Avoid using heavy makeup. A small bit of color on the cheeks, eyes and lips will help bring life to you in photos. Bring lip gloss to touch up for after those smooches to your littles or spouse.

#7 let's get real
Are you in the military? I want to see the stars and stripes. Do you play a guitar for your children? Please bring it! Are you a soccer family? Do you bake? Let's show the real you.

#8 Be yourself
this session is about your story. And i want to get it right.
